Beautiful color change from purple, through orange; on its way to red. Some blushing is possible as well. Very productive and on the milder side of superhots. First called “Kenji Purple”. These are originally from Rafael Kenji in Brazil. Carlos Jr got a hold of them and a few people commented that they look like “Reapers” on social media. Low and behold it got the name “Purple Reaper”. True parents are Capiroto x Carolina Reaper. Capiroto is another variety that was created by Kenji.
