Limited 6+ Seeds
One of the darkest ripe peppers I’ve seen. Great flavor without the floral notes. One of the original Pimenta Jolokia (PJ) phenos Bryan Townshend discovered back in 2016. They should be red underneath but cream and peach like to show up also from these.

Please stop buying and selling the outlandish renames. Otherwise you just support the scam artists and thieves. People have spent lots of time and resources growing and working on things. Many new claims are usually from 1 off plants and are not new hybrids. Many people never even grow another generation to see if it will repeat. Lots of hybrids will remain unstable for many generations. Stop falling for the lies. Bhut Jolokia x Pimenta De Neyde has been around for 15 years and still isn’t stable. Clout chasing and the stealing of other peoples peppers has run a muck. When you see multiple renames from vendors it should be a big red flag to stay away. You are being taken advantage of and scammed if you’re buying the same pepper with multiple different parental claims. Real breeders are being over run by social media influencers with outlandish lies. Hybrids tell on themselves. Many claims don’t follow how they should act. True F2 should be almost completely different between plants. If young generations are fairly stable it means someone pulled a phenotype from another known hybrid. You should be very skeptical if someone presents a new hybrid without multiple selections or phenotypes. Phenos represent the whole plant and you don’t get multiple on one plant. Those are just different shapes and variability in the plant. Blushing types will vary in degree of darkness depending on the growing conditions and inputs. With so many people growing some of the same hybrids it makes selective breeding of a pheno obsolete these days, because it’s almost a guarantee that someone else found the same thing. It has become a rat race of who can claim something first instead of stating the truth about the origin. Put some work in if you want to name something at least instead of naming every different plant or variation. Not every variation deserves being named and sold. There is over 4,000 possible assortments from a single hybrid at the F2 generation. Variations can even present themselves many generations later in the growing out a hybrid.
