Purple Bubblegum 7 Pot that turns orange when ripe. One plant grew purplish foliage and BBG calyx with some Yellow 7 Pot Bubblegum plants. The first generation was Red when ripe. Orange appeared from the reds at F2. I first thought It must have crossed with an upward growing ornamental type based on the darker, almost black no calyx phenotypes . I am now suspicious that the BBG Yellow it came from, may have been a green leaf MAMP variant. It could have exhibited hidden traits with the dark foliage. The degree of purple will vary depending on growing conditions and between plants. PurpleGum has spawned red, yellow, white,pink, and peach phenos as well; both with and without the bleeding calyx. The BBG phenos are actually milder in heat than the non-bleeding counterparts. I have been following a Blushed and non-blushed variation of these.
